The amount that’s been written about Pokemon Go during the summer of 2016 was truly astounding! Having explored the way that ideas roll out in education over the course of the last few years, being an early user and fan of Declara for curating big data as well as knowledge transfer, after a positive experience playing Pokemon Go I started to curate some articles about the game.
I noticed that the range of views was as astounding as the number of articles that were written about the game… An impressive achievement for a team of 11-50 people (According to LinkedIn) within a two year period!
When I shared the early collection with Marialice Curran who I collaborated on with the UK Digital Citizenship Summit, we decided to create a Pokemon Go – Back to School Advice Document.
This started out a 20 page document of curated health and safety advice that university and police departments had put together, but with the help of over 100 people in our respective PLN’s this soon grew to a 150 page white paper.
Thank you to everyone who got involved with this project! Please do check out the Acknowledgements section and connect with the people mentioned there, as well as with the contributors to this report who can be found on this Pokemon Go Crew Twitter List.
